The Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance informs that temporary restrictions on import of products under state veterinary control from the USA Plants 18079 and 413 to the Russian Federation will be imposed from 02.08.2010 due to violations of the veterinary and sanitary norms and requirements of the Russian Federation.

In case products from these plants shipped before 02.08.2010 come to the Russian Federation, the decision on shipment clearance should be made according to the established procedure. The Territorial Administrations of the Rosselkhoznadzor should take samples for laboratory tests for detection of banned and harmful substances from each consignment in accordance with the Rosselkhoznadzor Instruction No. FS-NV-2/9959 dd. 14.09.2009 .
