Temporary Restrictions Imposed on Import of Products from Several Plants of Germany, France, Poland and Brazil

Import of products produced at plants indicated in Annex to this Letter has been temporarily restricted by the Rosselkhoznadzor from 30.07.2010 due to monitoring detection of banned and harmful substances in animal products that came to the Russian Federation from Germany, France, Poland and Brazil.
In case products from these plants that started to be loaded before 30.07.2010 come to the Russian Federation, the decision on shipment clearance should be made according to normal procedure followed by the obligatory laboratory control.
In addition, it is necessary to enhance the laboratory control of products that come to the Russian Federation from these plants due to detection of coliforms in a consignment of curd cheese from Poland (Plant No. PL20131601 WE).
It is necessary to follow the Rosselkhoznadzor Instruction No. FS-NV-2/9959 dd. 14.09.2009 during control of products from these plants.
Temporary restrictions on import of animal products from the following foreign plants to the Russian Federation will be imposed from 30.07.2010:
