The Rosselkhoznadzor is often addressed a lot of questions concerning preparation of Form 1 veterinary certificate for domestic cats and dogs when they are transported within the territory of the Russian Federation. Therefore, in addition to the Rosselkhoznadzor Instruction No. FS-NV-2/1116 dd. 09.02.2010 the Rosselkhoznadzor explains the following:

- it is possible to specify only the main way-points in column “Itinerary”: point of departure – point of destination – point of return (when animals are returned after exhibitions, shows etc.)

However, the reissue of the veterinary certificate is not necessary.

- it is not necessary to fill in the column “The animals have been put into quarantine before shipment”.

It should be indicated in the veterinary certificates (Form 1) for export of these animals abroad that the veterinary requirements of the exporting country are met (special notes).
