In the period from December 4 till December 5, 2017 the talks between the technical specialists of the Rosselkhoznadzor and the representatives of the State Service for Food Safety of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Armenia on implementation of the electronic veterinary certification in mutual trade between the Republic of Armenia and the Russian Federation took place in Yerevan. The Russian party was led by Deputy Head of the Directorate for International Cooperation and Veterinary Control of Export/Import and Transportation of the Rosselkhoznadzor Maxim Tsukanov. The Rosselkhoznadzor demonstrated the Rosselkhoznadzor information systems FGIS “Argus” and FGIS “Mercury”. The representatives of the Service also elaborated on the advantages of using the systems. 

Within the framework of the activity aimed at the implementation of electronic veterinary certification conducted by the Rosselkhoznadzor and SERNAPESCA the possibility to receive electronic veterinary certificates for salmonid fish products bound for Eurasian Economic Union consignees in XML format by means of GIS ARGUS is now implemented within the Rosselkhoznadzor information system. 

Consultations via videoconference were held on December 6, 2016 and aimed at discussion of the Russian-Holland cooperation in electronic certification application. 

In the framework of the implementation of the working plan between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Chili in the sphere of electronic certification of livestock products, fish and seafood the technical specialists of the Rosselkhoznadzor performed integration between GIS “Argus” and the Chilean information system. Veterinary e-certificates for pork and pork offal intended for Russian consumers are transferred in a test mode from the information system of the Republic of Chili to GIS “Argus” at the present moment.

A delegation from the Finnish Food Safety Authority (EVIRA) visited the FGBI “ARRIAH” subordinated to the Rosselkhoznadzor on December 15-16, 2015 to take part in a seminar on integration of veterinary e-certification system of the Rosselkhoznadzor with that of the third countries. 

The negotiations were held in Moscow and were devoted to food and biological safety issues during reciprocal supplies of regulated products and to communication between the Rosselkhoznadzor and the Ministry of Agriculture of Belarus. When discussing traceability of animal products imported to Belarus Vasily Pivovar noted that the Belarusian veterinary services were ready to implement the Rosselkhoznadzor’s “Mercury” system of preliminary notifications on the regulated products to control the consignments sent to importers of Belarus and Russia. 

The videoconference negotiations were held on May 28, 2015 and they were devoted to the discussion of Russia and Belgium interaction in the field of electronic information system application in the veterinary field.   

On September 16-17, 2014, delegation of the Livestock Development Department of the Kingdom of Thailand paid an official visit to Saint-Petersburg. 

The meeting was held on the 10th of September, 2014 and it was another stage of consultations carried out between the Rosselkhoznadzor and the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the joint development of the step by step programme on assessment of freedom of some Kazakh regions from highly dangerous and transboundary animal diseases.
